VRCLens Multilingual Localization Addons

A multilingual localization add-on for the VRCLens Expressions Menu using VRCFury. 🌍✨ It translates the VRCLens Expressions Menu into your selected language at build time. If Free Camera Add-ons are installed, their supported menus are localized as well. 26 languages and locales are supported. ⚠️ This is an unofficial add-on for VRCLens. VRCLens and VRCFury are required separately. This package does not work as a standalone product.

Features

・Build-time localization of the VRCLens Expressions Menu ・26 supported languages and locales ・Support for installed Free Camera Add-ons ・Non-destructive processing using VRCFury ・Does not directly modify the original VRCLens menu ・Does not modify Expression Parameters, Animator Controllers, or Animations ・Remove the localization prefab and rebuild to return to the original English menu

Notes

・Some translations still contain entries whose sources or exact meanings have not yet been fully verified. ・Although the translations have been reviewed without relying solely on machine translation, there may still be mistranslations or more natural alternatives. If you notice anything that could be improved, please report it here: https://github.com/smizuoch/VRCLens-Multilingual-Localization-Addons/issues ・Updates to VRCLens, VRCFury, Free Camera Add-ons, or related dependencies may cause this add-on to stop working correctly. ・Please use only one Localization Prefab at a time. If multiple Localization Prefabs are detected, the build will be stopped to prevent the avatar from being uploaded in an unintended state.

Acknowledgements

This project was heavily inspired by Free Camera Add-ons. Without Free Camera Add-ons, I likely would not have come up with the idea for this multilingual localization add-on, nor would I have been motivated to develop it to this extent. My sincere thanks to gummidot for creating and sharing such a great add-on. GitHub: https://github.com/gummidot
